All kennels raising these dogs should be AKC, CKC or other national club registered and abide to the code of ethic. Reputable kennels breed only stock that is registered and screened for hereditary defects. The aim of such clubs is to improve the breed. Avoid kennels that offer you tea-cup dogs at high prices, because there is no such a type and only occasionally a smaller puppy may be born, as with all living beings.
